(Occasional traveller). There are 3 in total with the middle package (regular traveller) costing £32.99 with £30 of credit and finally £50 with £50 of credit (Frequent Traveller).
The savings are also in SIM4travel’s favour when it comes to calls and SMS messages. With both sim cards, receiving calls from “home” are free unlike the majority of mobile network operators. There are further differences between Sim4travel and Go-sim – the cost of calls.
Looking at communication between Greece and the UK, then using Go-Sim, the calls would cost £0.38 per min and a text would be £0.21. SIM4travel offer
Many years ago Sim4travel was introduced. A mobile phone sim card that works in any unlocked

handset. The advantage of Sim4travel was that when travelling abroad, calls and texts were free to receive and outgoing calls and texts were cheaper to make.
Since then, SIM4travel has improved its service and its costs and a few months ago we were pleased to add a link to the SIM4travel web site from RodaOnline.org.
Mid-August Thomas Cook announced that it was expanding its partnership with a York based company Go-Sim, offering a similar sim card to SIM4travel.
Travel company Thomas Cook had previously sold the Go-sim card at its money exchange counters at Manchester and Heathrow Airports and on its flights. From mid-August, the Go-Sim card has been available at 80 of Thomas Cook’s travel agency outlets across Britain and Ireland. If the sim card is a success in the selection of travel shops, then it will be made available throughout all of Thomas Cook’s 796 retail stores.
Both SIM4travel and Go-Sim offer the user reduced call and text charges when abroad and calls and texts can be received without cost. This makes an attractive package for those who enjoy holidays outside of the UK and rely on mobile phones.
However, which offers the best value to the user? Well Thomas Cook’s offer with Go-Sim might look good – The sim card costs £30 pounds which includes £5 of credit. SIM4travel, on the other hand costs just £15.99 with £10 of credit for the basic package
2009 was promoted as being Britain’s Barbeque Summer with weather forecasters predicting clear skies and high temperatures. The early signs were good, with the UK seeing unseasonably good weather in the first part of the summer. This was not to last and the all too familiar grey clouds and rain soon out-manoeuvred plans for stay-cations and pali-days. The August bank holiday weekend had record numbers of people passing though the airports and schools are expected to see an increase in the number of children returning late, following a last minute family holiday abroad - in an attempt to find some sun.
Flexicover Insurance company was predicting over a month ago that sales for 2010 holidays would be boosted as people booked in advance to avoid the disappointment of another wet summer in the UK.
As always, two thoughts come to mind - insurance cover and Roda. The village web site (Roda Online) now promotes 18 different accommodation locations, mostly independent but also some tour operated.
So when you are looking for your 2010 holiday don’t forget the Roda Pages and Flexicover Travel insurance to make sure your vacation in Roda is as you want it to be.

calls and texts at only £0.25 per min/each. So SIM4travel offers savings of about 30%.
So in summary, SIM4travel offers the better package deal when first purchasing the card and also have the best rate per call/text. There is no difference on incoming SMS & calls as both are free on both sim cards.
Certainly using SIM4travel will save money for those who use their mobiles whilst in Roda and on other holidays.
